Charging on board

You can charge the batteries of your electric car on board the BORNHOLMSLINJEN fast ferries. 

There are two charging points on the Ystad route, which you can choose when booking your ticket according to the first come, first served principle. We support and have cables on board for TYPE2 connectors.

• In order to charge your car on board, you must book a charging point when booking your ticket.
  
  
• Charging of electric cars are offered when you purchase the following types of ticket: Low car and High car
  
  
• Charging is offered according to the first come, first served principle and according to the capacity on the service in question.
  
  
• If you do not want to use the charging booked, the booking can be changed on-line and the price of the charging reimbursed if you cancel your booking prior to scheduled departure.
  
  
• Check-in at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure. If you check in later than that, BORNHOLMSLINJEN cannot guarantee the possibility of charging as it may be impossible to position the electric car within reach of the charging points.
  
  
• BORNHOLMSLINJEN can at any time withdraw the offer of charging without any kind of liability. If this is done, any passenger who arrived on time and has bought charging can be reimbursed by contacting kundeservice@bornholmslinjen.dk
  
• In some instances the charging capacity may be limited or absent during the crossing or parts thereof. BORNHOLMSLINJEN cannot be held liable for costs, delays or other types of inconvenience caused by this to passengers who have booked charging.
  
  
• Electric cars must be charged using the charging cables of the ferry. They are the property of BORNHOLMSLINJEN, and theft will be reported to the police.
  
  
• Removing charging cables from other cars is strictly forbidden.
  
  
• For safety reasons there is no access to the car on the car deck during crossing.
  
  
• Charging is at your own risk.
